Tom is a graduate of Hope College and Fuller Theological Seminary and has served as a pastor in the Grand Rapids area for sixteen years.
4. Being a good pastor
I know that my position as a pastor is a great responsibility. It is important to me that I give it my best effort.

I really believe that as you sow, so will you reap, and to enjoy a good life you must live a good life.

2. Loving my family
Betsy and I have celebrated 18 years of marriage. We have four children, John, Michael, Gillian, & Megan. They are a constant reason for joy, and we love them dearly.

1. Knowing God
In my sophomore year of high school I turned from my rebellious ways and chose to make room for Christ in my heart. That decision has made all the difference in my world.
